About us...
Takahata church belongs to
the U.C.C.J.(United Church of Christ in Japan), the largest protestant church in Japan.
We believe in Jesus Christ,
the Sun of God as our Savior, who died on the Cross for our Salvation.
The Sunday Service is our most important occasion of sharing the living Word of God together.
We have all services and meetings in Japanese language only, but can give some help
in English or in German.

OKAMURA, Hisashi
Born in Tokushima-pref., Shikoku as the third son of a christian minister.
Graduated from a high school in northern Wisconsin, U.S.A. in 1979.
Studied german history at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and
at the Marbuger University(Marbug/Lahn), in Germany.
Served to 5 churches in Osaka and Tokyo since 1997, after studing theology
at the Tokyo Union Theological Seminary.
Ordinated as a paster at Osaka in 1999 by the United Church of Christ in Japan.
Living with beloved wife and a doughter and a cat "Liz".
Like to play the piano and the guitar.
The church is located in the west surburb of Tokyo.
It takes only about 30minutes from "Sinjyuku" by Keiō Line.
6-minutes walk from "Takahata Fudou" station
which is on the Keiō Line(KO28) or Tama Monorail Line(TT07).
